Just got finished reading the majority of the oil leak threads on here... I have had an oil leak for quite some time now that has really been bothering me, well today when I got off work I had some time to start checking it out...

When I first noticed the oil leak it was dripping right off of the front differential cover. When I was able to look at it a bit more in depth, I found oil in a number of places. The highest point at which I was able to track fresh oil appeared to be right at where the AFC bolts up to the injection pump. Anyone have any ideas?

found it!

FINALLY got around to fixing it today. When I had taken my AFC to measure my torque plate I didn't tighten the bolts enough on it!

PLEASE people when you take your AFC off make sure you tighten the bolts enough! Those gov springs really fling a lot of oil around, enough to cause the huge oil leak it did in mine.

DON'T overtorque the bolts either! The AFC is made of aluminum metal and will strip EASILY. I made this mistake also the first time i put the plate in. Fixed it easily with a longer bolt and a few washers, but it is very easy to strip the metal and can put you in a bind!
