oil leak

Thought I had a small leak/sweep from the oil pan gasket. Cleaned it off real good and took a look again in a week. Oil all over the front timing cover, Thought maybe the fuel pump gear cover was leaking... ... ... ... 20,000 miles so off to the dealership. They added a leak detector dye and found the front oil seal (crank) leaking... . anyone else have a similar problem or is this just one of those things?

same here, nothing major, just a little sweating, haven't got it fixed yet either. Just above the front of the oil pan.

How big a job is it to fix??? I think I have the same little annoying leak.

Mine was replaced at 33k, been good since (155k now)...
