I was working on another problem on my 03, and noticed oil coming from under the plastic cover on top of the valve cover, I took it off, and there is what looks like some kind of sealed crankcase filter, Is that what it is? and there is a tube coming of the side and back, the side is attached fine, but the tube on the back has a foamrubber sleeve on it but it is not attached directly to the body, i moved the tube closer like to attach it, but it doesn't line up, and the sleeve is way to big to attach to the tube coming from the body, is there supposed to be something between them? any help guys? Thanks#@$%!

A little while ago someone posted the FSM pic of the set up. Try some key word searches in this forum to see if you can find it.

Yes it did thanks, turns out for some reason the sleve that conects the valve to the tube swelled up and slid off, it swelled to about 3 times its normal size, so i put on a fitting to attachit back on

Mine has always leaked. The dealer installed a couple of hose clamps on it and I replaced the o-ring on the bottom with a Cummins replacement part but it still leaks.

Hope you have better luck!
