oil leak

i have a 1995 3500 4x4 that is leaking oil between the vacum pump and power steering pump and was woundering if i can just pull of the power steering pump and replace a seal in vacum pump or do i have to pull the front cover off it. it has 140000 on the truck and has not had the kdp fixed yet.

Just go ahead an unbolt the whole business from the timing gear housing. The vacuum and PS pump are not in time with any engine componet, so don't worry about gear location. You do not need to remove the timing cover to remove the vac-PS pump assembly.
