In my driveway today, i found a spot of asphalt that was a little torn up. I crawled under the truck and did not see any oil leaks, but the blow by tube had drops of oil at the end. (the tube by the pan, it is the blow by right?) what causes this to leak and what can I do to minimize the driveway damage? Are there other spots that it could be leaking from that I am missing?

Thanks Jason

Wait till you get a bunch more miles on the truck, blow-by is most obvious on a new engine. As the rings seat blow-by is greatly reduced.

It's my humble opinion that is the reason people experiencing problems with fumes in the cab somehow decrease after the engine is broken in:rolleyes:

Blow-by is another way to tell a tired motor, it increases as an engine get overused and the rings start to wear bad.
