Oil levels

Do you realize that the dealers are still missing the running gear fluid levels. You go buy a new vehicle, you QUESTION them if every thing is OK and up to top level---- they tell you it is READY to go. you get home and find all levels are low. Call dealer and question them they, pull the PDI sheet and every thing has been checked off. How do they justify this. no wonder there is being so much problem rear end noise.

No wonder there is a check list to use BEFORE you leave the dealer.

On my truck the trans was OK but 1 qt for the rear diff, 1/3 qt for the front diff and 3/4 qt for the transfer case. I just brought it home and did it myself. PDI? What's PDI?

These people doing this job needs a little instruction on how to use a wrench, and where the plugs are, rather then just go get coffee and check off the PRE DELIVERY INSPECTION form. My son was just to caught up in getting his new truck, and he had THE CHECK OFF LIST in his hand.
