oil life remaining status?

Is there anyway to see what the oil life remaining is? I have a 3,000 mile trip coming up and was wondering if my current oil change will last through the trip. I currently have 2,000 miles on the current oil change. I will probably have another 500 miles on it before we leave.

not sure about yours, but my next door neighbor gets right at 5K before he gets the "change engine oil" message on his 11 model. ALL of his miles are highway unloaded except for pulling a camper about once a month.
My 14 model gives a percentage of oil life left along with fuel filter life remaining.
