oil overflow bottle?

I had a similar disscusion with the Cummins dealer in DE. He said that freezing is possible but unlikeley since oil is a natural water repelant. His advice was use the stock system but with a larger catch container in the winter months and then put the long hose on in the spring/summer months. Should only take a few minutes to swap once a year.
