Does anyone have any pics of how the drain for the secondary turbo is joined to the pan.

I know you put a bung in the pan, but i'm wondering where and hoe high on the pan.

There is also a need for a baffle, how is this done.

What is the oil level like in the pan?

Thanks

Adam

Put it as high as possible. The oil level is very near the top of the pan.

I put my fitting about an inch and a half from the top and it isn't above the oil level when the engine is off. It's very near the oil level, and I'm sure above it when the engine is running, but it SHOULD be a little higher.

Make sure you still have good access to the oil pan bolts after the fitting/bung is installed.

Why go into the pan. On my compound setup we used the extra plug at the rear of the block and went to Cummins and bought a new drain line and stuffed it in the block, it is really clean and alot less of a hassle.

thats because the 98's and above have another access oil drain on the block. The 97's and below don't have this.

I was told that you could join the two drains together at the tube into the block. I know that it would be better to have two but is it nessasary? I was thinking that the oil would loose its foamyness by the time it gets down to where they would "T" toghether.

Any thoughts?
