Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Oil Pan Question

My truck is leaking a little bit of oil from around the drain plug. . I wiped the whole pan clean and it not dripping from anywhere else. . Theres just always a drop coming from the drainplug... I checked & the plug is tight, but is there some sort of gasket that goes on the plug?

yes, and it could be worn. Also the rim of the plug can crack if overtorqued (40 ft lb is enough). Stop by cummins and get a new set, wait until next oil change time.
