Thanks AH64ID! Found the fittings in the Autometer Catalog and took that number to Summit Racing and they have it for $10. It changes M10x1 to NPT. I appreciate your help though and that photo will go a long way. I've been sitting on an Autometer Phantom Oil Pressure gauge for about a year now not knowing where to hook it up to. I had originally hooked up a line to the port on top of the oil filter and then ran that line to a manifold where I hooked up the sending unit for the oil temperature and the oil pressure sending unit. I could never get the manifold to seal up so I decided on the oil temp direct hooked to the port.

Anyhow, how difficult is it to get the plug out of the block?

And... . A-N of course stands for Army-Navy and that one I know. AH64ID made me think of a funny conversation I had with my Dad recently. He just turned 70 and I told him he is officially at the age where he gets to make up stuff about anything and it is treated as truth (JIC???) ... . It seemed way funnier when I told him.

Piece of cake. It's a small hex socket (Allen head). It's easiest if you pull the driver side wheel well liner out and go in from there with a long extension.

Actually it was a MAJOR PITA. . There is not much room to play around in there... I had to disconnect wire looms to get enough room. .

And its actually a TORX fitting, not an allen screw. (At least mine was). .

One I got the wires moved it wasn't horrible. . but still not an easy place to get a wrench.

You guys are killin' me (LOL)! I found a fitting today at a local speed shop made by Earl's. I'm getting ready to lay the truck up for awhile to get all my goodies installed I have been stock piling over the last couple of months. BTW, my gauge layout will be as follows: The top of the dash dash pod will house the boost and EGT. I have an overhead dual gauge pod that will house the fuel pressure and rail pressure, and the triple gauge cubby hole gauge mount will house the oil temp, transmission temp and oil pressure. If I can figure out how to post a picture when I am done I'll do so. Right now I am waiting for the Slate Gray interior paint to paint the dash pod. After that it is rock-n-roll time. Actually, that's not true. I still have to buy the two fuel gauges. So... if you're listening Geno's Garage... Be talking to you soon! (I still have to pay the Kitchen Boss off for the FASS!)

Mine did the same thing. Spent 40 bucks at the Dodge dealer for an oil pressure sender. Replaced and worked fine ever since. The sender is located above the ecm below the fuel rail.

Interesting. Mine is definitely an Allen head. I guess they changed things. And mine isn't that bad to get at, once the wheel well liner is removed. I used a long (18"?) extension on my 1/4" ratchet.

Be sure the fitting has an o-ring!

Ryan

10-4 on the O-ring. The fitting I got yesterday turned out to be a 1/4" not a M10x1. 0. Will try again today but I'm leaning towards Summit Racing and getting the Autometer fitting.
