What actually sends the signal to the oil pressure dummy light? Is there a seperate sensor to the oil prerssure guage sender?

Backround on the question, now that I have a Autometer oil pressure guage, the light does not work. I want it to work. What do I need to get to make that dummy light work again? Do I need to get a switch that sends the signal when the pressure gets low and just T it off of the oil pressure guage sender?

Also, if I need a switch, at what PSI do I want the light to go on at?

Thanks!

The idiot light sender is in the same housing as the gauge sender. When I added a real gauge, I put a tee in and ran the factory setup also to keep the light functional.
