Hello all!
Was calmly driving home last night when out of the blue "Gauge warning light and chime". Looked around to see that I had battery, water temp, fuel, zero oil pressure, ugh... . NO OIL PRESSURE!! Was not going too fast so into neutral, instant shut down and coast to side of the road. Up goes the hood, plenty of oil on the stick, no leaks top or bottom... . what gives? After a few minutes, tried to crank her again. Still no pressure. A friend stopped to help. "Need a ride"? "Not sure yet". After several more minutes looking all over again for a leak, tried to crank her again. PRESSURE

Friend followed me to be sure I would be OK. After a few miles I pulled over and told him thanks, but it looked like I was going to make it. Luckly, he had his truck at our local Dodge dealer being serviced (long story). He told me the service department was open until 7pm on Mondays. Ureaka!! Off I went... slowly

After a short wait (1 hour, not bad without an appointment), they had the beast purring like a kitten. "What's up", I asked. "Bad oil sending unit. Replaced, no problem. Seems these sending units are bad right off the assembly line.
First "oh s***" with this truck. She tried to start me off with heart failure

By the way... . our dealers spend alot of time getting pounded by complaints. In this case, I have to offer thanks and say I was treated with kindness, promptness, respect, and a quick resolve to my problem... . no stupid questions asked. Burgin Dodge in Knoxville Tennessee provided all this in one hour, rememeber, unannounced with no appointment

Thanks TDR and Burgin Dodge!
