My oil pressure gauge acts funny on my 93. Usually it works just fine. Then it will bottom out. Then it might move up just a little. Then it might bottom out again. etc..... Sometimes it will stay bottomed out for several seconds. The light never comes on. Any guess that to where the problem might lie?

I had the same problem in my '91. The sensors are notorious for failing. You could get a dealer replacement, but it might be just as cheap to go with an aftermarket guage. My $. 02

I had a problem with my temp gauge a couple of years back. It just needed cleaning around the wire and sensor. I put some dielectric grease on and it has worked fine.

Had the same problem with my 89 changed the switch on the block with a napa switch and as Mo would say oil is well. If the switch is your problem you need a special deep socket to get to the switch for removal and replace good hunting.

It acts real wierd. Sometimes it acts with the throttle. Foot off the throotle it reads. Give it throttle and it goes down. It is really weird. Remember my truck is a gasser. (i know) so
