Need advice, I changed the gasket behind the vacuum pump / power steering pump on my '95. When I fired it up the oil pressure warning lamp wouldn't go out. Could I have missed a drive gear when I put it back together?

I also cleaned the battery terminals. Perhaps it's related to that. I might have pulled something loose on a sending unit.

I just want to be sure do I don't toast the bearings.

Thanks for the help.

your oil presure senser is right behind the power streering pump under the injection pump. make sure nothing happend the the senser or the wires while you were in there.

CBeeman is exactly right! I broke the oil pressure switch while working on it at night - couldn't see. $21 at Napa and I'm running again.

Thanks very much for the help.
