Howdy peoples - Looking at a 91 for a friend of mine, drove it today - rides okay, very stock, but oil pressure gauge reads right on the second hash mark (the first mark on the inclusive range of hash marks... ), which is about half the distance that my 93 reads.
Now, I need to know if any of you that have 91's have what appears to be a low-reading oil pressure gauge, or does this rigs engine have some internal bleeding? He says he changed the oil every 10,000 miles... . (yeah, swell... ). It has 189K on it, and otherwise runs and feels fine. Thoughts???
If we decide to get serious with it I'm going to plug in a set of quick oil, water gauges with numbers. Maybe offer $100 deposit to take the rig for a day and plumb in some gauges. If low pressure, money well spent, if good, money well spent... .
This thing was a farm truck and has more dirt on it than my yard. ALso, what t-case did these things have in 91? 205's, 203's?
Thanks amigos,
