I called napa with the numbers that had been posted but they couldn't match them, He showed one for a 97 model Does anyone know if the 98 is different mine drops to zero at idle if the rpm drops at all as with clutch engagement. Thanks Ramman

Oil pressure switch part #

I don't have the number handy but I got one about a month ago from Napa, $23. Do a search on my name in the 12V forum.

oil sender #

thanks for the input,I am going to the steller thursday for the recalls and an oil leak will see if they will replace under warranty. I will try to check the echlin # op6189 tomorrow. thanks a lot . Ramman

Please post it if they do it under warranty. I asked my local dealer about a month ago, and he said NO!

If your dealer will do it, I'll try another dealer.

Good luck.

Eric

Sender replaced under diesel rap extended warranty some ridiculous price like $180 or something but curred the no oil pressure at idle problem, also had an oil leak which they suspect being the vacuum pump, something like $800 what a rip off but for $50 I guess it,s a bargain. FYI the 98 12 valves have the same electrical plug as the 24 valve trucks which makes them so high but I think napa can help for under $30 echlin Part # op-6189.
