Is the oil pressure sending unit the same on the Cummins Equipped Dodges, as it is on the Cummins equipped fords (Older, F-800, etc. . 12 valves)?? If so, what is the part #'s? Thanks a million!

thats a good question, all you have to do is pull it off the big ford and compare it. its much easier to get to off the ford than it is on the dodge.

Thanks for the info. . I figured that much, but I am asking if anyone knows the part #'s. The ford house is closer than the Cummins house, and if they are the same parts, same connections, etc, then I can save some miles and go to the Ford dealer.

Chris, I bought one for my '96 Cummins at NAPA, I don't know if they changed any by '98 but I would think that they are the same.

The NAPA part # is 0p6670 made by Echlin. It takes a special socket that is deeper than the standard size, I don't remember the exact size, something like 1-1/8", but I have the part # for the one that fits the Echlin pressure switch. It is a KD tool. Numbers on the socket is, K-D 3458 USA.
