My oil pressure gauge works intermittantly, but generally does not work. I do know the engine has oil pressure. I assume that it's the oil pressure sending unit, as all the wiring looks OK. However, the Dodge dealer wants $249 for a new sending unit. Does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives? The Mopar part number is 5012991AD.

don't pay that, its a pressure switch, pigtail, and a reflash. It turns the gauge into a fake one that always reads 40, and when oil is a certain pressure it closes a circuit do a search on here and you can find a part number use that, its a real sending unit, if it has three pins its a sending unit for these trucks.
