Oil Pressure

Hello everyone i have been getting really low oil pressure. I replace the oil filter and i put red line oil in it and still no improvement. so i was wondering why im getting really low oil pressure. I would reallly appreciate the feed back. thanks nick

sometimes if the oil gets diluted with fuel it goes low.



Is the pressure low and confirmed with a mechanical gauge on the engine?



The sender might be going bad. (common)

no its the one that came with the truck from the factory.

The factory gauges can be off due to the sending units getting weak.



Put a manual gauge on it first to verify actual pressures before chasing too many problems.
