Oil psi guage and light INOP

My low oil psi light came on when I was sitting at a stop light recently. When I went to pull out it went out. A couple days later I bought a new oil psi sensor from advance auto and installed it and still no reading/light. I put the old one in and still nothing. Wondering what else could be going on?

id put a positive read guage on , i had issue with my guage and put a t on the light works but the guage dont

Is there a fuse or anything else electrical it could be?

It could be a bad guage or the sending unit ,I replaced mine and no change , with a sending unit , it works on rare occasions, so I put a t in and ran a line for a guage , it could be a broken wire

I tried the new sensor again. Guage and light now work but the guage works real slow.

Only fuse i know is the guage fuse thats it .

Now light don't work at all but guage still moves one line. Can't figure this out??

Mine did the same thing , probally a bad guage , id put a positive read guage on it
