we finished putting everything on the truck last night - 4 hours and an 18 pack of cold ones later. Between myself and my 2 friends, we finally got the turbo and exaust bolted on. The oil return tube was a #@$%! . It did not want to line up with the turbo housing so we beat it (crimped it) in certain areas so it would not make contact with the waste gate assembly - we still have plenty of area for flow to the pan. And in the end, we had to use the ol' heater hose trick.
once i did the 4th check of all the nuts, bolts, clamps ... . i fired it up. It ran ruff for about 15 seconds and then it cleared. I think now it idles smoother and quieter than before. Well of course i had to take it for a spin last night. It was very foggy and wet out. Driving through my neighborhood and putsin' around town i don't think i can tell a difference BUT, once i lay into the go pedal its

time. I can tell it has a little bit more lag then the HY, but once it hits about 10lbs it pulls very hard - traction was a problem on the wet road. Is 45lbs of boost the norm for this setup? I swear i see it spike to there when i am pourin' the chilli to her.
once the sun dries up the roads and burns the fog off, i will have to go for another ride today. I've got the COMP on but no wire tapped. I'll have to think about tapping that. Is the old Kauffman's going to have a spring fling
