Oil Smoke?

I have been noticing some increased blue smoke (oil?) and heavy diesel smell coming from my exhaust shortly after start up. Much more noticeable when it's cold outside. I just moved to NY from CA. I do remember a similar phenomenon once when I was up in Alaska with the truck.



Is there a difference in fuels in the cold regions?

No oil burning.

Just a typical cold diesel. Nothing to worry about.
