Denver to Pa. backhaul

Torklift Fastgun

I just got back from pulling my 19ft (about 3500lb) TT from Seattle to Minnesota and back. My truck is an 02 4X4 QC. I used about a half a quart of oil after driving about 3500 miles. Is this normal ? I usually change oil right at about 3000 miles, and havnt used any oil. This time I had to go about 4200 miles because of the trip My truck has about 35000 miles on it.

In your normal 3000 mile oil change intervals,(no usage)how much of that is towing?... . When you're towing you will use more oil... . 1/2qt in 3500 miles is nothing to get alarmed about... ... ..... Hell, once you get that puppy broke in, it might not use as much. ;)

Um, a half of a quart in 3500 miles towing? Didn't you know that you are now qualified as a dual fuel vehicle?

Get over yourself , man! :D

At that rate you won't have to carry a gallon of oil with you untill your rig has about 185K on it.

Enjoy!
