I just pulled my 180s to put in 215s and noticed the #5 injector had a lot of oil around the lower part of it. Is this normal/bad/horrible? It didn't seem right to me since the others were pretty much dry.

My #2 injector was leaking fuel where the two pieces thread together and left an oily mess in the hole. The stuff was kinda of thick like oil. It leaked just enough to make a small mess around the outside where it came up around the nut o-ring.

Well I could swear it was oil but it wasn't coming from the top. Maybe it was the two pieces leaking. That makes me feel much better since I replaced them. is there any way to check to see if that's what it was.

On mine it was obvious because there was discoloration around the leaking area. The only way I know of for you to find out if it's the injector that's is leaking is to take it some place that can test it. I have no idea if this is what you have going on, it was just a thought. I took mine in to have it checked/fixed but they didn't get too it while I was in town (110 miles from home) so I had to do an exchange with them for a rebuilt.
