Hello... New member with lots of Questions and very few answers, however I'll ask the questions a few at a time. I know the TDR and it's members are a wealth of knowledge and experience, so Thank You All ahead of time.

Oil... Recent problem, oil is seeping out of the dip stick, eguating to about a quart every 4000 miles. We have 147,000 miles on the truck, and would hate to think there is something wrong inside causing this problem. Any ideas or similar experiences would be appreciated. Thanks... Looking forward to getting to know the membership.

I suggest you check your crankcase vent. If the crankcase blowby gases cannot escape, they will find some way out of your engine. The oil and blowby coming out of your dipstick tube may be the only thing preventing oil seal failure elswhere on the engine. This needs attention right away. Good luck.
