I would get some hand calculated mileage checks, before getting worried. If the gauge is accurate at all, they is something wrong. Should be able to to better than that, assuming non-towing mileage. Even then 10mpg still seems a tad low.

My light comes on with only 1/8 tank left. When i fill up, I shake the truck around quite a bit because the vent problem prevents the tank from becoming completely full when the pump shuts off. Sometime, if you've got the truck, fill it until the pump shuts off, then shake the bed around a bit and keep filling it up. I usually fill it until the fuel sits level with the end of the filler nozzle. Be careful because the fuel foams and can spit back at you a little bit. Fill it up one time to this point, and then run the truck for however long you want to, and then come back and fill it to exactly the same specifications the next time and then calculate the mileage. If you have bigger tires, you will need to calculate the difference in the tire sizes to calculate the mileage difference. You can take the truck to a dealer and have the computer reprogrammed for the bigger tires. At this link, they have a superior tire size calculator:
I calculated the difference on your tires as compared to stock, and it only equates to 7. 22% difference. If you were at 10mpg, this would equate to almost 11mpg. Either something's wrong, or I would say that you try the fill to the brim and then refill to the brim method.
