With the $$$$$$ of fuel going through the roof - and I know bigger means more fuel - aren't these a real expensive option? Now I know when some jeak next to you wants to have fun bigger is always better - BUT with fuel heading towards $4. 00/gallon - and don't laugh - these ***** will have it there this summer - if you're driving at say 65 - what difference in Fuel Mileage can you expect say between a 2. 4 and a 4???????

My rtuck with the ETC, 285/75-16's, 3. 54 gears, bed cover, Catcher, TST off, Mach 4's at 65-70 MPH- 23 MPG. Hand calculated.

Add the boat, milage drops to 19 MPG.

The Mach series injectors are the best thing out there. BTW, I got 22 MPG with the COmp on level 1 prior to the new electronics package.

Bone stock, I got 16 city/20 hwy

Bombed I get 16 city/20 hwy.

No loss of mileage with the Mach 4s...

Bigger injectors don't cause a drop in MPG - fuel makes power. Same power needed = same fuel delivered. Just less pressure on the foot feed to get there.

Now, where the drop in MPG comes from due to bigger injectors is because your right foot refuses to be retrained to apply less pressure. The :D factor goes up, but MPG goes :( .

Dave

Dave's truck gets better mileage than mine because it's the right color (patriot blue).

Not that a sweet cam or 285 Toyos makes a difference:)

Any pics of the 285 Toyos, Dave??
