Well not many people volunteered to do a Cummins conversion in my Ferd so I picked this up today and was wondering if it would be possible to make a Cummins fit in here even if I have to butcher the hood... ... just kidding. I think Im just gonna keep it as is and drive it for the summer and dump it. Any volunteers yet to help with the Ferd/ Cummins conversion????????

Chris: Measure the distance between the bottom of the door and the roof line on that 'Vette.



I bet it it is pretty darn close to the ~36" tall Cummins... You'd have to drive it very carefully whilst staring around the engine block - kinda like the guys that have to look around a big blower sticking out of the hood. Swapping a V8 diesel would work pretty slick (as the link Kevin provided shows... )... but nobody likes those. :-laf



P. S. What do you need help with in terms of swapping a Cummins into a F*rd pickup? It has been done so many times that it is almost a bolt-in process... Drop me an email...
