OK guys just bought an '06 6-speed anything i need to know?

just bought an '06 6 speed ...



thing runs good Oo.



any advice? anything i need to look out for?

Picked up my 06 6 speed today. So far I am quite pleased, the lower noise level is very noticable, ride is much improved over my 94, the 6 speed has gears where I always wanted them in the 94, 5 speed. I wish it had a better gear in 6th to drop the revs, it is doing about 2200 at 70 mph. I does take longer to start than the 94, that thing hardly turns before it lights off. Takes some getting use to the new shift pattern, and the new clutch catches much sooner, so I am sure I looked like a kid learning to drive a stick. Overall the G56 shifts pretty good, I am sure some miles will smooth it up, along with me learing where the clutch is going to come in.



I would also like to see the things to look out for.

OH ^%$^* hurry up and sell it. You ^%*'ed up. Seriously though its fine and brand new. If anything breaks take it back. Dont touch anything on it unless you want to loose your warranty. Just drive it.

I just did an airbox mod on my 06' last week. I towed the Jeep over the weekend. EGT's were down about 100deg while using the stock air filter. I'll post pics tonite. Cost was about $10.
