Where can an enterprising and unfearful shade tree mechanic buy the adapter and filter block to build his own remote oil filter setup?

I have seen a couple of what I consider over priced kits for this but I know there has to be a source for parts that can be adapted for the purpose... ...

Thanks... ... .

Personaly when it comes to Oil I would only use something tried and true like one of the kits allready out there. Mainly due to pressure, vibration , and most importantly part failure! (Not to mention the time consuming hunt for parts)

Out of curiosity is this for your 01?

A buds 92 toyota with 17" of lift 44" swampers, a Blown 306 C. I Frd mated to a serous c6 trans figured a dual remote filter setup was the key as the motor was his first born ... ... ... . 'til it vibed loose and blew a filter off. I think I jerked a tear that day too :(

You might shoot CPFF and e-mail. If I recall, he had a pretty good oil bypass set-up. And he's one helluva machinist. He's also the man who is building those KDP jigs and letting the TDR membership pass them all over the country for free. Great guy in my book.

Yup its for the 01... ... I know its fairly easy to get to as is but I have some plans for that area that will make it a bit harder..... gonna relocate to somewhere underneath on the passenger side and behind the bumper like a simlilar kit I saw that has a pretty hefty price tag on it... ... Not too worried about problems like your buddy had... ... been down that road once before in a galaxy far far away :)
