Just ordered my 3200 RPM governor spring today :D , have my KDP kit on hand so when I get all the parts I am going to tear it down and do all the work at once, along with the upgraded rear brakes so I can stop when it's time to let off the go pedal. :--)

Crestview FL?

I work for Crestview Local School Dist. in Ashland Ohio. I used to live in Florida. Naples in fact. Still have some family there.

I grew up in Pomeroy Ohio, on the river near Athens. I worked in Athens, Logan and Racine. My sister still lives in Pomeroy and a very good friend lives in Columbus.

Are you going to drill into the gear case cover using a KDP jig and put a pin in the hole, or take off the cover & put a tab over it?

Regards, DBF in PCBFL

Congrads, you'll love it. Just take your time and make sure the pump area is CLEAN. You don't want any specs of dirt or paint to fall into the pump. Probly gonna be time for a bigger boost gauge LOL.

No DBF, I am going to remove the cover and tab it. I want to locktite all the case bolts while I am in there. That is as big as concern of mine as the pin.

Bill, I already have my 60 lb gauge in the garage just in case. I had the top off my pump just a few weeks ago due to the o-ring leaking on the throttle shaft which I changed when I changed the brakeover spring. My truck runs great now so if it runs any better I won't know what to do.

I'm in da same boat... . it ran wonderful prior to each modification and simply gets better. I can't believe it either. I'm beside my self. I hope the word don't get out about our trucks. The value of these things will skyrocket. I still have one or two more trucks to add to my stables.

You betcha!! That was FUN!! I hope to be able to do it next year... ... ahhh... er..... Bill, YOU can do it next year. I'll set down and watch with a cold Dew in hand :) :) :)
