I need some help on this one please. A friend of mine has a Cummins powered bus in his shop that we think has been re-powered. It has a 12 valve (I think a B series), non intercooled mechanically injected engine that I believe is not the original size that was in this motorhome. (Champion Motorhome pusher)
The engine number is: 562 02 623,
2 questions:
What can be done to bomb this engine so that he can at least keep up with traffic on the interstate?
If we can get good power out of it, I assume that engine life would be greatly reduced, correct?
You have to excuse my ignorance on this one, I have an '03 Common Rail HO & have not dabbled with the 12 valvers at all.
Thanks.
