best gear

definately put it in 4 wheel drive low range, then put it in 2 gear low. don't get greedy. ease out clutch let it hook then bog the truck out till it comes alive. then hammer down.

I agree with the "greedy" comment.



I just pulled for the first time a week ago in Cynthiana KY. I had enough motor for 3rd low as Dave Mitchell told me, but my TST disagreed! Completely trashed!



Had to take the #10 out and put a used (read FREE) OEM clutch in, and I'm saving now for a EEP Dual Disk.



Play it safe only do 2nd gear!

I agree with Danelle, except I would add one thing- put your 245 all seaasons back on, and the clutch might live 2-3 pulls.
