These are the axles that make it possible. .

20,000 GVRW... no problem

1100 Ft Lbs of torque ... no problem...

the conversion is cheaper than you think:)

in most states the proximity of the axels your showing limits you to 16000 lbs per axel [ok ok I know that is way more than you'll load it] just an FYI... if the space was longer between then you would be able to have the 20k per axel

Here is a lightweight axle 6X6 jeep that was done in three weeks...

HOw much do you all think it costs to do a 6X6 conversion anyway?

I would love to hear your ideas:)

Probably a lot more than I would want to spend. Very interesting concept though. What does this do for handling and mileage under every day condtions? Does this technically create a commercial vehicle (3 axles) ;) ??

Kev

Not a commercial vehicle

General MOtors is sending me a 2003 GMC sierra Duramax HD

USA6x6, though are some bad ass looking conversions. You have a web site. Keep the information and pictures coming. What does the conversion cost to a Dodge 3500??

I was comming home from the paul bunyan festival and saw one going down the road. I had to do a double take double take. It sure did blow my mind. Verry KEWL!! :D

Can your shop do a non-ugly front end conversion on those things? How much would that cost? :D

Seriously. . GM's design department must all be crack addicts. I saw an almost identical truck to the one in your picture (but not modified) yesterday, and man. .

I work for Daimler Chrysler and our engineering dept has a poster of a similar vehicle they were thinking of producing for the agricultural market. (farmers) They had a cool name for it but I cant recall at this time. I will edit later if I think of it.

(I remembered T-REX was the trucks name)

Sorry, not my truck. :) I ordered a short box quad cab to replace my 163" wheelbase dually because it's a shorter truck, I have no desire to go make it longer. They do look neat though.
