Okay, okay, I'm sorry I mentioned the 2WD fact. Don't kill me over it. I'm just used to needing it at least once a week, and sometimes more, especially in the winter. I know how controversial this topic is :-{} so I'll say it now, I'm sorry I ever brought it up
You are right, though, with 4WD you do have to walk farther after getting stuck, but you also don't get stuck as much, and when you do, 4Lo is amazing

Of course, when your neighbor slips off his driveway at 10PM, you get the call to get him back between the ditches.
I guess if I was dweilling in the south, or in an area where either the roads are plowed after every 1/8" of snow or everything comes to a grinding halt, I'd go 2WD, but up here, with a foot of snow schools just laugh, and I have to get there no matter what.
