Oklahoma and back

I promised my son I would get his dog and karate trophies to him when I had the chance. Now I have the chance. I will leave early wednesday and prolly come back home Thursday. Will be tough but I got to do it. 1000 miles in two days. At least I get to haul something and spend some time in the truck on thanksgiving day. Hope yall have a good holiday and eat some turkey for me.

Have a safe trip. I'll eat an extra piece of turkey for you. How close will you be to Ponca City? A friend and co-worker of mine is from there, which is why I ask. Watch the roads. Nobody drives as good as you. That's my road philosophy.



The wife and I and the mutt just did a trip to Chattanooga. We were there for 30 hours visiting a friend to deliver his wedding pictures and watch the Florida-Georgia game. Almost a 1000 miles round trip. They're fun, but it's nice to stay longer when you go somewhere. Makes you feel like you've been somewhere other than the Interstate and in the truck.

Thanks guys! Made it back safeley and went to the farm for some r and r. According to the time on the overhead computer I drove 1010 miles in 15 hours and 1 minute. I have an aux tank so didn't bother to check fuel milage.
