Diesel Engine of the Future

fuel filter change 2005 powerstroke

Hey folks, just had an '85 F250 passed on to me from an uncle. It has the 7. 3L diesel in it. Anyone know of any concerns or problems running the new ulsd in this old/type of engine? Fouled injectors, pump problems, clogged filters etc... Thanks in advance.

Ulsd

I would say have some new fuel filters on hand as the new ULSD will clean any crud in the bottom of your fuel tank and move it to the fuel filter faster then you would think. also keep an eye out for fuel leaks some of the older trucks have had some fuel leaks after the switch to the new fuel.

Good Luck

Cliff
