Ihave searched and maybe I'm not asking the right question, so, heck with it, I'll just ask a question that has probably been asked before.



Next weekend, the DTT stuff is going in. Which line from the trans is the "hot" line, that goes TO the oil cooler. This is for the trans temp gauge. I'm installing the Janetty Racing manifold (splices in very nice) and need to know which line to splice into. .

The line you are looking for comes out of the trans and runs across in front of the trans to the passenger side of the engine were it enters a preheater.

transmission hot line

I beleive the hot one is the one closer to the front of the truck. It will run (as you are under the truck) up to the cooler just under the exhaust manifold.
 
Before I bought the line........

With the port built in that is, I used the Jannetty block. The only straight enough place I could find was right below the heat exchanger. That's the tank below the exhaust manifold. There is a straight area where it rises to the tabnk that's where I put it.
