98 QC 12v. I was doing some off roading last year and while the truck made it the drivers side towing mirror side swiped a tree and didnt. I have replaced the mirror glass and thought I had it held back in place but the frame itself bent and now glass is popping back out and I would prefer to just replace the whole piece. Anyone know where I can find the mirror or have any laying around that I could buy? Its the kind that bolts on to the doors and can be fipped around for towing etc. . Thanks

Joe Mc, clicked the link you provided, unfortunately those are not the ones. Thank you though. And Mr. Smith, the dealer is a good idea, should have thought of it but I guess I am used to avoiding them at all costs. I will look into that option tomorrow

My '97 has these mirrors. I had to buy a replacement from the dealer, maybe 4 years ago.

I know they no longer sell the complete mirror & brace installation kit.

I've seen similar mirrors on Ford pickups and vans, so maybe a Ford dealer could help. Theirs may be slightly different in size or length of the attachment arm, you'll have to check.

Actually, I like the Flip Up Towing Mirror Upgrade I installed on my '96 better than the '97s factory mirrors. I've thought of converting the '97 to those. The only thing, the '97s mirror braces are better for mounting a CB antenna for a low SWR.

I second Eric's suggestion. .

I (as well as a lot of other people) bought a set of these a couple yrs back to replace the sport mirrors. Paid right at 200. 00 on ebay for new ones in the sealed box. Simple bolt on r&r, sold the sports for 25 bucks and this was one of the best purchases made on the rig.

Very happy with them. No vibration, easy flip-out when needed. Sweet.

If its the west coast style mirror like on my truck. Just go to a truck parts store. I went to my local one showed him the old one and they had it in stock for under 50 bucks may habe been 20 or 30

Mirrors Found

Found after market mirrors like the ones on Kenny's truck. They were in stock at United RV in Fort Worth. They are made by CIPA and are calle the Camper Mirror part Number 92-9191 at $59. 95 each. Geno's is a CIPA dealer, give them a call with the part number Oo.

Thanks to everyone for their input and especially to kenny61 and C. D. Day didnt think this post would get much input but once again the TDR comes through!
