RJ,

A few years ago there was an article about a Hudson/Cummins conversion with pictures in TDR magazine. I tried to find it this morning but don't have time to really look. If I find it later I'll let you know where it is. The guy that did the conversion was in his eighties!

My brother and I have a 1921 Dodge Brothers that my father bought when he was 15 and he would've been 70 this year. We're not going rat rod but the body got hacked off behind the seat before my father got it and it's getting hard to find something usable so we are thinking turning it into a pick-up since the body to the seat is there. We'll make it like a T-bucket but with a full box.

I've searched through my magazines and can't find the article about the Hudson I know is there somewhere. I did find a contribution from Paul Graber in issue #49, page 72 that talks about the same car. The issue that eludes me reported that the Hudson was shown at some Las Vegas trade show (SEMA??).

I have family in Plattsburgh NY. I have traded for some dodge parts over in that area. the guy had a bunch of dodge parts. I got some stuff for a 41 from him. I will see if he has anything 20"S. He has a bunch of trucks all dodge. The man was a farmer he still use some of them on his farm. He may have something you need.

My nephew owns a 53 Chev. 1/2 ton delivery he would like to sell me.

It's an orig. running and rust-free Ca. truck.

I was thinking about buying it and doing a Cummins/4 whl. drive conversion, but I'm not able to do this (storage) for at least a couple of years.

I'm still looking at my options, hoping I can buy it, then pick it up later.

I think it would make a great Rat Rod, big tires and wheels, big sound and smoke, etc.

Has anyone seen one of these already hot-rodded?
