Lawn Care Question

Doc Tinker

I have some old sparks I want to sell. I thought it'd be good to figure out the application for the sales pitch.

The Champions read: CHAMPION COMMERCIAL, 8 COM. C,18MM, 1" HEX.

The Edisons: Z 19, AH 102R. Also "ALBANITE INSULATED" and "MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" printed on the plug.

These are NOS and I have 3 Champs and 8 Edisons+ the original 10-pack Edison box (it's a bit tattered).

Any help on the application would be appreciated. I can post photos if somebody is interested. Thought I'd ebay 'em.

Wade,

I have an old Wisconsin Air cooled engine manual, Issue 249. Book is for Models TE and TF, 2 cylinder engines. I think it was published in 1949. The magneto section was printed in 1948. In this book, the spark plugs are Champion No. 8 Com with 18 mm spark thread.

Can't find anything on the Edisons

I'm looking for the application for these plugs. Are the Champs used in that particular engine? And what was that engine used for?

thanks.
