I"ve had my Super 55 gas at least 5 years and have never had this problem before.

I have some TVA high-tension lines running across the very back of my property and today while trying to bush-hog under them my tractor would start missing and die at the same place, directly under the lines. Seems like it only happens under a load, I initially thought it was a fuel problem since it was on the side of a hill, downhill to the left. I reversed my course so I would be downhill to the right and same thing in the same general area. I went back to the shop, cleaned the sediment bowl, drained the carburetor, checked everything else I could think of, went back and it did it again. Let it sit there a minute and it cranks right back up. As long as there is no load on it I can pull it over about 25' and down the hill and it would do fine.

Any advice on what to do so I can finish my bush-hogging?

Is it damp out there today? Yesterday there was a lot of moisture in the air here, and the high tension lines next to work were buzzing like a sonofagun!

No, it's dry. My brother suggested I get a couple of florescent tubes and tape to the sides of the tractor and I could mow at night. :-laf
