ND/MN/MB Dyno Day September 20th

Steve has offered up his place for a get together. There is enough parking for us as well as enough driveway space to do some bombing if needed. Prefer to stay away from the big projects(clutches, head gaskets etc). I'll do BBQ for the adults and hot dogs for the kids, just need an approximate head count when we get closer. Date is open for discussion, must be Sept. . August is just too busy. We're thinking noon-6ish, depending on bombing, schedules, weather etc. .

Post any suggestions/ideas.

Bombing...

Hmmm... that really sounds like an tempting idea - I'd like to get Rod's Pod along with EGT, Fuel & Boost gauge - would that be too much for an afternoon? Either way it will depend on the date...

August - almost here and only Aug 16th is open right now...

Sept 6th - gone to Sullivan, Missouri - Jet Ralley

Sept 13 - Penn State @ Nebraska - can not miss that game!

Sept 20th - Good - no game day

Sept 27th - going home to visit folks & brother from FL...

Oct 4th - Home game - Troy State

Wow - Sept is busy too. .

On another note, for those that don't have plans this weekend, there will be remote control jets flying down at Tecumseh, NE airport. About 35-45 pilots will drive from all over to come fly jets. If you have seen prop jobs fly, you have to see the jets!! More info at www.mvjs.com -- people will be flying Friday and Saturday, I'd say a larger number will fly on Saturday. The event does go on Sunday, but since most of the pilots will drive 8+ hours, they will leave by noon sunday.

Thanks, Michael

Gauges, turbo's, injectors. Anything that can be done in an afternoon. If I have some warning I can chase down odd tools or whatever may be needed. More than happy to lend a hand.

Omaha?

What's going on here? I'm new to this forum, and just saw this Omaha post...

Located approximately 30 miles N of Omaha in Mondamin, IA (actually about 6 miles E of Mondamin in the hills), and working in West Omaha. Oo.

Usually 5th wheeling in W. Iowa on the week-ends. "Stock" 3500, but <em>'thinking'</em> about adding a "chip" and some gauges to make towing even better...

I'm not sure what weekends work or don't work for me that far out. :( I will try and make whatever weekend gets picked! :)

Sept 20th???

Okay - since no one else has suggested an open date and I'd like to get some gauges installed ;) - how about we settle on Sept 20th so I can order the gauges in time for the Bombing party?

Michael

Sorry I haven't gotten back to this sooner. As I said, aug is a busy month:{

Will set/post the date this weekend.

Will order gauges tomorrow...

Okay - Sept 14th works for me. I'll order the gauges from Wildcat Diesel. Hopefully I'll have my Northwest custom mud flaps on by then too - ordered those last week.

Hopefully it won't be even close to the heat we had today!

Michael

Have we ever had good weather? We're leaving wed night for Scheid's. So I won't be following this thread over the weekend.

Ordered gauges...

Order Rod Pod & gauges too, but Fuel & Thermo is on back order and Isspro has a delivery date of Aug 28th - might still get them, but don't have my hopes up in getting the gauges in time...

Now that august is over I can get back to my other life.

Steve's addrress is 3301 N 73rd st. . 1 block west of the old Steven's motorsports on 72nd. I'll try to scare up a map to post for you directionaly challenged folks. As we get closer I will need a headcount for food(wives kids etc). Still have room/time left for bombs if anyone has a project in mind. Or we can just eat and BS. Anyone with suggestions or ideas for the day feel free to throw them out here.
