OME Battery Lifetime

My 97 (built 4-97) just lost a battery due to slow internal shorting. The inspection
port showed black. the other battery showed green but when I put a load test on it, it only came up about 2/3 of a new battery. To make a short story, I put in two new
Delco-Reme Professional 1000cca. $89. 00 each
at my local jobber with a 7 year warranty.
I've tried and seen many different batteries in my mechanic days and the Delco-Reme Professional (yea, I know, GM parts in a Dodge... ) has been the best battery for my money. My engine now spins over like a turbine engine. Just my $. 02.....

I just feel stupid for trying to better maintain my vehicle and end up screwing everything up! It is my own fault. I'm not throwing blame, One of us feeling bad is enough. #ad

New batterys. . November 22, 2000
They even been through a LaSaber, and I dont mean under the hood. One was slightly dented, but it didnt leak.
