OMG Just had 2 recalls done and.....

Well..... not happy, but the dealer is trying to make it right. Just had the j35 and some idler arm/tie rod recall. They flashed it and put on 1 inner tierod and i idler arm. I get the truck back and the steering is 90' off!!! I went back and they were very embarrased and corrected it on the spot. O. k. no biggy... . So I bought an oil filter thinking the lifetime oil changes wont be happening there... Half way home I push the tow/haul button and manually change gears and it dont function. Yesterday before the flash it worked fine, after the flash... INOP... . I call them again and they offer to come to my work and corret it. I let them know about the oil change and he said he would give me the oil and filter every 5 K and I could do it myself if I liked. uh... . Yea!!! Sorry for the rant, but at only 3k miles, this should not be happening... ... . Could they have flashed out my tow/haul function???????:{

Your truck does not have an idler arm. Pitman arm perhaps?

i looked under there and it only looks like they changed a large inner tie rod..... still curious about loosing the tow/haul function... ... .
