Morepower, I should have read your post more thoroughly. More importantly I am WRONG about SLR vs rev/km and I am rather embarrased right about now
. Of course rev/km is based on the circumference of the tire, which is related to unloaded tire diameter by (pi) * (diameter). It has nothing to do with loaded radius.
Your gearing would only be off by 1/3% (as per Jerryrig) so go for it. Sorry for sending this on a wild goose chase...
