First I would not buy the small little compressor they like to sell with the bags. I've been there none that. I went to a QUICK-AIR II, there are other brands, just this one has been tested and works well. I mounted the compressor, tank, and solenoid in a steel "box" I made that attached to the passenger side frame rail. I mounted the compressor on rubber pads to help keep it quiet, and it also helps that it's under the truck. I set the compressor up to automatically kick on at less the 85 psi, and it cuts out at 125 psi. I also mounted a electric solenoid at the tank that feeds the two bags, this way just push the button on the control panel and the bags inflate. On the inside of the cab, I monitor tank pressure and bag pressure. I also had a low (less then 10psi) pressure switch that would automatically inflate the bags when they got under 10psi (bags will loose air, it's not anything wrong with your plumbing, they are just made to loose air) but since I don't use my truck alot, the cycling would drain the battery, So I unhooked it. I hope this is of some help, I have run air bags for the last 15 years, on three different trucks. This is the best set-up I have found.
