I'm running a PS/MMO mixture. I find the old MMO bottles just about perfect for me. With that long, skinny neck, I don't need a funnel to dump it in the tank.

I keep a rectangular plastic container (Wal-Mart special) bungee-d to one of the in-bed tie downs. It'll hold 8 or 9 MMO bottles of pre-mixed additive, all sitting upright with no leakage.

I mix them up in my driveway (usually on the tailgate) at my convenience. My large bottles, funnel, and measuring cup live in the garage.

At the pump, it's quick, easy, an there's no mess.

Of course, this wouldn't work quite as well if you don't have some sort of bed cover.

Hey guy, im a new user. While we are on the topic of fuel additive. What are you guys using?? I just bought a new 2007 and wondering if I should add fuel additive or not. I had a 98 12valve before where additive was added in every fuel tank. Do I need to add it to the new 3rd gen truck also.

A while back I ordered generic bottles from a bottle manufacturer with screw on lids specifically designed to store fuel type liquids. The caps have a double seal inverted cone so the fluid stays put inside. The bottle is an 8 oz.

I fill 6 or 8 and store them in a walmart bag hung from the backseat release handle. When I use them the empties fit in the door pocket perfectly.

Go back and check my origional post about additive storage, it has the cost, and source.

I also got generic 1/2 gallon containers that are exactley like the Stanadyne 1/2 gallon containers, enough so I can repackage 5 gallons of Stanadyne PF at a time.

No leaks in about a year or so.

I get a lot of stuff at usplastics.com

They have a WIDE assortment of jugs, bottles, dispensers, etc. I buy a lot of bottles from them for my detailing business. Good service, quality products.

I'm investigating the possiblity of a pump jug of some sort. I have a gromet in my toolbox. I could plumb a line out of the toolbox, through the drain hole in the bed and then into the filler neck. Put a one way check valve on it for safety. Then at the pump I could open the toolbox, give it XX number of pumps and then fill'er up with 'ol #2. Sounds almost too stupid for me to even attempt. LOL.

That is stupid. Wish I'd thought of it :D

when i joined TDR a member said he made a cock tail of power serv. and marvel mystry oil. i get good quality water or jucie 16 0z bottles, wash them out and cut off lables. i put in 6. 5 oz of PS and 8 oz of mm. this is a mix for 20 gallons, i never let tank go much below a half tank. i get a half case beer box and put them in there. they stand upright so they dont leak or fall over. i keep reusing the bottles. robert

Ken, why is your signature different???

I put A metal divider in My tool box and reuse 16 oz water bottles. When most of them are empty I get out the 2 gallon gas can and mix My mmo, ps, and 2 cycle oil. The spout on the gas can is perfect to fill My bottles. Besides I don't need the gas can for anything else since I don't use gas anymore.

Occurred to me over the weekend...

Have you seen the 2-cycle engine oil jugs that have a measuring/dispensing reservoir along one side? You squeeze or tip the jug to fill the reservoir with the right number of ounces of oil needed for the quantity of gas, then open the top an pour in the measured oil. If you could find an empty one, this seems like a handy container that would be leak proof. Couldn't find one at USPlastics site, but I only looked for a minute.

Seems like a good idea.

Sta-bil bottles come in various sizes, and have a graduated fill side.

Ride in a battery box in the bed of the 2500, and a sealable tupperware container in the Liberty.
