For the past while I have to re-sign in each time. The "remember me" check box does not hold the check made each time. What should I do? or is there a checked box other than this spot that needs to be checked. My subscription was renewed late but this been going on for a couple weeks now.
Thank you.

Wayne, I've got the same problem with my PC. It's especially a pain when I try to reply to a thread and have to re-write half the message.

YES! Me too. Try checking it last before logging. Are you using a tablet or smartphone?

That worked for me, check the box after filling in user name and password.

Login info is being saved on both PC's, one android phone and the i-Pad since doing so a couple of days ago.

Mike.

Its my PC, don't have the other electronics. I've tried the reset, to start fresh, checked box first, and last, before login. When I re-inter the site again. so there's a glitch some where. My lines are filled in with my info on re-entry, just not the box being checked. It usually says welcome with my name, and goes to the home page.

I got kicked out of several logon points the other day. PC, table, and Smart Phone. It was like they reset the server. Chris

Nerdie explanation: Yesterday I noticed that the cron scheduler on the server had been crashed since February 19th. This means things like VBulletin's session scheduler wasn't working. I rebooted the server yesterday - this should take care of it.

Non-nerd explanation: I fixed the glitch.

(This is actually Ken, not Robin, but I was using her admin account from some testing and forgot to switch to my admin account before posting!)

It is now November and I seem to be having the same problem as others - not remembering my login information and having to log-in before I can post to a thread.
Any ideas?

Today 11/12/14 still the same thing going on as stated above. Info still in place, no check make, click to enter, then forum page.

I've tossed my cookies before, is that the same thing???

In reality I have not. What baffles me is the XP laptop at home, the company server, all of my Apple products and the Motorola X phone remember the login just fine. This laptop at work which has Windows 7 downgraded to XP will not hold the password since last week. Can't quite get my mind wrapped around that......

Plus this laptop will boot me off after I have been logged in for 15 minutes or so. The second that you leave the area you were in such as foums you are no longer logged in.

Does your work have a firewall that is blocking cookies? Your LAN admin does not like you wasting time on the TDR site!

Shouldn't be or the server would bother as well. I run a server session and a local session using twin monitors. This has never been an issue until last week.

They know I haunt this site and would not block me. They also know that I work most nights from home doing stock orders. It's all good.

Try a different internet browser!

Same here for a week now. My computer savvy neighbor says it's Internet Explorer. The settings are right but all the forums and other password protected sites require me to re-enter.
He switched to Chrome finally and cured the issue.

My Mac Browser, Safari, has been doing it alos for a week now. Even after I clear the cookies and relog in, TDR will NOT remember me for more then one visit.

The previously posted work around DOES work--

go to any tdr forum page and find the "quick links" tab, click on it and drop down to "todays links" and the new posts invariably show right up,.
